The “Parachute Kink” Jacket reworks the classic perfecto through craftsmanship, hardware and hand-built intervention. Cut in cream 100% cotton, the piece keeps the familiar attitude of a biker jacket, then pushes it into the language of military straps, parachute harnesses and restraint.
Two long studded belts are constructed directly onto the body, travelling from the front to the back, crossing over the shoulders and down the rear of the jacket. Inspired by the tension of wartime parachute gear and biker uniforms, they can be tied, loosened or left hanging, creating an adjustable back construction that changes the way the piece sits on the body.
When fastened, the straps lift the back slightly, giving the jacket a sharper, almost suspended silhouette. Each belt is individually studded and applied in the LEDUC atelier, with metal rivets running through the straps, sleeves and body.
Finished with an asymmetric front zip, zipped pockets, waist belt and LEDUC metal tag, the jacket carries the spirit of a classic perfecto while turning it into a new LEDUC statement piece.
